South American boxer Pedro Tabares has been disqualified from his recent bout against Saul Farah after appearing to stamp on the fighter’s head even after he had been viciously knocked down.
The shocking scenes played out over the weekend at a regional boxing event.

Farah, who is the champion of the Bolivian heavyweight division, was likely to have been trailing on the judge’s scorecards before being knocked down by the debuting Tabares.
However, following his opponent’s lack of discipline, Farah will now keep his title but most importantly, he lives to fight another day.
