That’s according to Spanish outlet AS, who claims the Catalan side are open to the idea of cutting their losses on Coutinho and would welcome a summer transfer.
Recently Premier League outfit Everton was linked with making an audacious move, understood to be within the region of £35m, as per Marca.
Prior to his stunning £121.5m move to Barcelona, Coutinho was a valuable member of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.
A move back to Merseyside, for as shocking as it would be, would also certainly be intriguing.
Coutinho would likely have a big point to prove and what better way than returning to his old stomping ground and showing Liverpool that they were wrong to ship him off to Spain.
