The Republic of Ireland will be without Seamus Coleman for Thursday’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Germany in Dublin.
Martin O’Neill’s men play the world champions tomorrow night before travelling to Poland on Sunday for their final qualifying game.
With qualification for next year’s tournament hanging by a thread, the Everton star’s absence comes as a serious blow.
Coleman did not take a full part in training today and O’Neill confirmed that the defender would not be available against Germany.
However, O’Neill was confident that the player would recover in time for Sunday’s game.
Wes Hoolahan reportedly struggled in training today but O’Neill has said he will be fit to play tomorrow night.
