When Scotland last beat England at Twickenham in 1983…
– Michael Jackson was riding high in the charts with Billie Jean
– Tootsie was a worldwide box office sensation
– Gregor Townsend was 9 years old
– none of the Scotland team were born pic.twitter.com/rlcFLdhGP2— World Rugby (@WorldRugby) February 6, 2021
Who’s going to win the tournament now, it’s blown wide open now and Wales v Ireland will be very interesting now. The Scots play Wales next week at Murrayfield and Scotland have a real good chance now of winning their first Championship since 1999, a long time for a country with such a big rugby tradition. England will have to go away a lick their wounds after that loss and some bad performances from their big game players, but you can’t take anything away from Scotland they were full worth their win.
