The man who seems so against new trends has finally hopped on the Instagram bandwagon just over 10 years after the social media platform was created.
The Manchester United legend has spoken out against players and their use of social media in the past but now he has joined them on the platform today and he is already verified with other legends of the game like Ian Wright welcoming him to the platform.
He is using the handle @officialkeane16 and has already posted his first picture to Instagram as he shared a picture of himself and his dog with the caption “A man’s best friend”.
Jose Mourinho’s Instagram account has become increasingly popular with his brilliantly funny posts on the platform and we are hoping that Roy will be able to take off as well. He managed to get over 500 comments on his first post within the first hour so if he keeps going at this rate, he could be the only one to challenge Cristiano at the top.
