Roy Keane gave fellow Irishman, Seamus Coleman some harsh but fair criticism after Everton’s loss to Manchester United on Friday.

The Red Devils have looked incredible since the league’s restart after the World Cup and have continued that good form into the FA Cup.

Erik ten Hag’s side ran rampant against Everton, they scored three goals but will be unhappy that they gifted the Toffees such an easy goal in the first half.

One player who really impressed was Marcus Rashford, the winger has finally regained form and had Seamus Coleman’s.

Keane praised Rashford after he set up the opening goal and also threw some criticism Coleman’s way.

“When Marcus got the ball, we had a great view from where we were sitting and I was thinking, ‘Everton are in trouble here, now. And, particularly, Seamus Coleman is in trouble’.

“Marcus is going to decide what happens here. Seamus can’t do anything about it. Even a 20-year-old Seamus, you cannot defend that. I think it is just brilliant play. He’s just too quick… you can’t stop the really good players when they are on form and Seamus, he’s got him on toast there.”

What did you make of the criticism, was it fair?
