Marcus Rashford may have already earned the “miss of the season” before the 2025-26 campaign began.
The England forward joined the La Liga giants on loan from Manchester United after he fell out with Ruben Amorim.
Barcelona have the option of signing him permanently next summer.

The 27-year-old was named in the starting XI in Barcelona’s final pre-season game against Serie A side Como.
The La Liga giants were cruising comfortably, leading 4-0, when Rashford created a brilliant opportunity for himself to score.
The England forward, who provided one assist for Raphinha, looked full of confidence as he rounded goalkeeper Jean Butez to give himself an empty net to slot the ball into.
However, he then proceeded to casually slot the ball wide of the gaping Como goal, as overconfidence got the better of him.
Rashford looked in complete shock, as did his teammates.
One posted: “Rashford with the miss of 25/26 already.”
A second wrote: “This is the miss of the season.”
