Inter Milan striker and newly crowned Serie A winner Romelu Lukaku has been reflecting on his time with Manchester United.

Lukaku, 28, started his pro career with Belgian side Anderlecht before joining Chelsea in 2011.
After failing to force his way into the Blues’ first team, the powerhouse forward was sent out on a series of loans, including to West Brom and Everton.
After seeing some of his best moments come to life on Merseyside, the Toffees wasted no time in tying the striker down on a permanent deal.
Just three seasons after signing with Everton, Manchester United came in with a stunning £76.2m offer to sign the 28-year-old.
Reluctantly accepting, Everton sanctioned the transfer which saw Lukaku made the switch to Old Trafford.
However, despite being the Red Devils’ latest big-name signing, things didn’t really work out and after just two years, Lukaku was shipped off to Italy, where he now plays under Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.
Having just lifted the Serie A title last weekend, Lukaku has been reacting to his decision to leave England and join Inter Milan.
“Things didn’t work anymore. Things have to be said as they are: if a better offer comes from somewhere else or you can try something different, why not try it? I did it and I saw that works,” Lukaku told RTBF Sport, as relayed by Calciomercato.
Lukaku also took the time to praise current gaffer Conte.
“He loves me because I know how to do everything he asks me to do on the pitch. I know how to attack, I know how to defend, play in the box and run into open spaces,” he explained.
“Conte is a coach who knows I’m not afraid of work; if you play for him, you must know that the work will be intense.”
