The word ‘ROBBED’ has trended in the United Kingdom after YouTuber AnEsonGib had a victory stolen off of him in his bout with Tayler Holder in Miami.
With the UK YouTuber, who boasts 2.2M subscribers on the video platform, having turned pro only to be knocked out in the first round by Jake Paul, AnEsonGib, or Gib for short, was looking to make a statement at the YouTube vs TikTok boxing event in Miami, Florida.
And, in truth, he did. Gib was far and away the better performer throughout the course of the fight, applying pressure to Holder, as he was expected to do so, and landing considerably more punches than the American. The stats are there to prove it.
I need @socialgloves to issue a full apology to @AnEsonGib cause what was that🤦🏽 we need to see the score card!! pic.twitter.com/FtnvlDJanb

As you’d expect, fans who paid the hefty PPV price and stayed up til the early hours of the morning (BST) to watch the fight felt a little aggrieved to have seen Gib get robbed as he did. So much so, in fact, the word ‘ROBBED’ ended up trending in the United Kingdom.
Here’s what Twitter had to say on the matter…
