Ricky Hatton will be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame alongside women’s boxing trailblazer, Jane Couch.
Hatton’s greatest night came when he upset Kostya Tszyu in Manchester in 2004 to win the IBF super-lightweight title and really announce himself to the world.
He gathered an army of loyal fans who crossed the pond for his huge showdowns with boxing legends, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
