One of Kilkenny’s all time greats Richie Hogan has hung up his inter county boots. He won 7 All-Irelands, 4 All-Star awards (2011, 2014-16) and was crowned Hurler of the Year in 2014.
Richie Hogan was a great servant of Kilkenny hurling and a major part in their greatest ever spell as a county.
“My body has tried to call time on my career many times over the past few years but my mind always convinced me that the call to represent you was always greater. For now however, don’t call me, I’ll call you.”

The countdown has already begun for the new season ahead with players coming in and going out of all the inter county teams around the country. The club action is currently on going and all over the county with some great games to be watch locally.
