West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has REJECTED a contract offer amid links to England’s top dogs, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Rice, who was released by Chelsea as a teenager, has gone on to establish himself as not only one of the finest midfield players in the Premier League, but one of the most promising in his position anywhere in the world.

The West Ham midfielder is doing it on a regular basis, even on the European stage, this campaign, having been a star performer in England’s remarkable run to the Euro 2020 final over the summer.

You feel as though it’s only a matter of time before he moves on, as much as West Ham fans will no doubt be desperate that he commits his future to the club that he is currently captaining in Mark Noble’s absence from the starting XI.

Fabrizio Romano has now suggested that it could be this summer, with Rice understood to have rejected a third contract offer from West Ham, with the youngster having one eye on a move elsewhere in the upcoming transfer window.

Chelsea are the club that have been most closely linked with Rice. Manchester United and Manchester City are also understood to be interested. Where he will end up is anyone’s best guess at this point.
