The former Ireland midfielder and now England one just had to score against his former country this evening and to be fair to Declan Rice he didn’t celebrate when it came to it.
Speaking to the media afterwards he said he wouldn’t do it out of respect for his grand-parents and of course his father he was in attendance at the Aviva Stadium to see England win two goals to nil.

Both countries have new mangers and it will be interesting to see how they get on in the group. It’s a long time since England have won a major international trophy. Can the former Ireland player Lee Carsley be the man to finally deliver years of hurt.
