PSG and France superstar Kylian Mbappé may be thinking that PSG’s Champions League clash with Barcelona is an audition of sorts as the 22-year-old prepares to leave the French side in 2022.
According to the Diario Sport. Mbappé is planning of spending one more season in Paris before moving on in the summer of 2022.
The 22-year-old hotshot is one of the most sought after players in the world right now and should Mbappé leave when his contract is expired there will be a massive battle for his signature.
With Brazilian maestro Neymar out inured the Champions League fixtures against Barcelona are another opportunity for Mbappé to show his quality – not that he’s got anything to prove.
Mbappé is said to have had developed a healthy relationship with former Real Madrid and France legend Zinedine Zidane which hints at a move to Madrid but a final decision over his future has not yet been confirmed.
If PSG do get the opportunity to eventually sell Mbappe they will demand more than the £198million they paid to sign Neymar in 2017, which remains a world-record fee report the Daily Mail.
