The Premier League have confirmed all matches will be available to watch live in the UK until football fans are allowed to return to stadiums.
According to Sky Sports, the absence of fans from stadia due to the Covid-19 pandemic has seen the Premier League extend its decision to make all games available.
Initially the roll out of all games to be shown live was just for the month of February but the league has decided to extend its coverage of games as a form of escapism for people.
The announcement came due to the continued ban on supporters being allowed in football grounds due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The move means that the Premier League will continue to provide live matches for fans to watch from home.
Football hasn’t been the same since the outbreak of Coronavirus and fans have been left stuck indoors watching their teams play to empty stadia since last year.
Since the introduction of the Covid-19 vaccine there seems to be light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel.
Thankfully football wasn’t postponed for too long and it has served as a very welcome crutch for millions as the world self-isolates from the virus.
