Newcastle United attacker Allan Saint-Maximin has fired back at an Everton supporter who trolled him on Twitter over the weekend.

Following the winger’s goal-scoring heroics against Burnley on Sunday, which earned the Magpies a vital three points in the race for Premier League survival, a Toffees fan took the time to discredit the Frenchman’s performance.

Replying to the Newcastle United attacker on social media, the fan wrote: “Overrated player that wouldn’t even make our bench.”
