Allan Saint-Maximin gives random Newcastle United fan £2,000 gift in brilliant act of generosity

Newcastle United talisman Allan Saint-Maximin randomly gave a Magpies supporter a £2,000 watch at St. James’ Park over the weekend.

Newcastle hosted Brentford at St. James’ in what should have been Eddie Howe’s first game in the dugout. Unfortunately, he tested positive for COVID-19 and was forced to sit it out.

One man who was able to be in there in the flesh and found the back of the net is Allan Saint-Maximin, who is widely considered one of the finest talents in the bottom half of the table.

Not only is Saint-Maximin ridiculously quick and a mazy dribbler, but he also appears to be a genuinely good guy.

As is reported by The Sun, as Newcastle fans gathered outside the stadium early doors in an attempt to grab a photo with their favourite players, Saint-Maximin did something quite extraordinary.

The Frenchman handed season-ticket holder Michael Urwin a TAG box with his TAG Heuer Aquaracer inside, a £2,000 watch donated by the Newcastle star to a random fan.

It was an act of kindness that will have made the fan’s day and speaks volumes about the character of Saint-Maximin.

What a bloke!
