During an interview with El Chiringuito TV, Paul Pogba’s brother Mathias has dropped a major hint that his brother has no intention of renewing his contract at Old Trafford.

Pogba’s has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford since the day he returned for his second spell with Real Madrid and Juventus being tipped as the favourites to sign the World Cup winner.

Speculation intensified in December of 2020 when Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola insisted his player was ready to quit Old Trafford.

Well it’s his brother Mathias, who plays for Real Murcia in Spain, who is the person dropping seemingly inside information about the French midfielder, hinting that his brother won’t make a new deal at Old Trafford and walk away on a free when his contract is up.

‘He is happy. He is improving his game,’ Mathias said to El Chiringuito TV.

‘He has a year left on his contract. I don’t know (if he will stay until then). I can’t help you right now.

‘The only thing I can say is if United want money, they have to sell him now. That’s the only thing I can say. If no, he’ll go for free.

‘I haven’t heard anything about him renewing his contract.’

Pogba rejoined United from Juventus back in 2016 for a then world-record fee of £89 million and has recently rediscovered some of the good form that enticed United to bring him back for such a huge fee.
