Why Neymar could be heading to prison for up to FIVE YEARS

Should Neymar be heading to prison for FIVE YEARS on fraud and corruption charges? A Brazilian investment firm certainly seems to think so.

As is detailed in a report by The Sun, Neymar’s preparations for the World Cup in Qatar will be disrupted by the fact he will be heading to COURT.

An investment firm called DIS, based in the Brazil, are understood to have owned a 40% stake in the Brazilian superstar prior to his move to the Nou Camp.

While they banked £15m from his sale from Santos to Barcelona, their argument is that it should have been significantly more.

DIS believe that Neymar was sold majorly below his market value and as a result they received substantially less than they had hoped.

As a result, their intention, as per the report, is to send Neymar to prison for up to five years on fraud and corruption charges relating to the transfer.

It seems seriously unlikely that Neymar will spend even a day in prison, but it’s hardly what he would have wanted ahead of the World Cup, is it?
