Awful news coming out of Munster rugby as one of the greats passes away

Munster rugby announced today on their social media that Jerry Holland former player, manager, coach and proud Cork Con club man has passed away after a short illness.

This is extremely sad for the family and of course his son Billy who played for Munster for over 15 years our thoughts and prayers are with the family and this time and may Jerry rest in peace.

Jerry Holland played a massive part in making Munster the success that they are now and so did their former CEO Garett Fitzgerald who passed away not too long ago.

I’m sure they will be both up in Heaven along with Anthony Foley of course and other former Munster greats looking down on the men in red for many more years to come.
