Manchester United have announced that French midfielder Paul Pogba will be ruled out for a a few weeks after going off injured during the Red Devils 3-3 thriller with Everton.

It’s a huge blow for the world cup winner as Pogba just came off the back of winning the ‘Player of the Month’ award for January after finding his brilliant best once again.

Speaking to MUTV, manager Olé Gunnar Solskjaer said: It’s an injury that will take a few weeks to heal.

Pogba will be first sidelined for United’s FA Cup tie with West Ham and again for United’s Premier League fixtures against West Brom and Newcastle and most likely the Europa League double header against Real Sociedad.

Fred is the most likely candidate to step in in Pogba’s absence as United try to bounce back from a disappointing end to their clash with Everton over the weekend.

The Old Trafford outfit had victory in their grasp only for it to be snatched away by Dominic Calvert-Lewin who capitalised on an error by United goalkeeper David DeGea.
