Unfortunately for Ramos Madrid are looking to reduce their wage bill due to financial losses gained through the covid-19 pandemic.

Los Blancos are reportedly willing to offer Ramos a €12 million per season contract that expires in the summer of 2023.

This hold-up in negotiations has alerted Man United and the report adds that the Premier League giants are considering offering the Los Blancos legend a two-year contract to tempt him away from Madrid.

Ramos joined Madrid in 2005 from Sevilla and since joining has become the club captain, most booked player in the clubs history and second highest goalscoring defender with 100 goals in 468 appearances.
