Manchester United revealed after their game last night that their Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay would be a doubt for this weekends clash with Newcastle after picking up an injury in their 4-0 thrashing of Real Sociedad in Turin.
The Manchester United boss decided to play McTominay in midfield with Fred for their Europa League clash and Scott had to be subbed off in the 60th minute for big man Nemanja Matic despite the Manchester United website saying United legend Vidic had made a return to football.

Scott has been a major part of Ole and United’s recent success in the league so it’s weird to see Ole risk him ahead of a Premier League game.
The question will be, who will pair Fred in midfield against Steve Bruce’s side? Will Ole give Matic the nod to start or will he give Donny van de Beek a much needed start?
Pogba is also side-lined at the moment so Ole could run in to some serious trouble towards the end of the season.
