Number-crunchers have determined that Manchester United have a less than 1% chance of winning the Champions League, reports the Daily Mail.

The Champions League is now Man United’s only opportunity to win a piece of silverware this campaign. It’s remarkable how quickly a season that was supposed to be headlined by a Premier League title pursuit has collapsed so emphatically.

Still, Ralf Rangnick’s men do still have a chance of being crowned European champions and making this a season to remember. Unfortunately for Red Devils fans, though, their chances are understood to be minimal.

As per the Daily Mail, stats boffins have crunched the numbers and determined that United have a less than 1% chance of winning the trophy. Arch-rivals Man City are the favourites, with a 25% chance of going all the way.
