Benfica striker Darwin Nunez has reportedly snubbed advances from Manchester United over a summer move.
Nunez has been making plenty of noise at Benfica and has subsequently earned admirers across the globe. Multiple of Europe’s elite clubs have been linked with making a move to sign the forward.
Manchester United, who will be losing Edinson Cavani with his contract expiring at the end of the season, are one club who have been mooted as a potential destination for Nunez, who is expected to move this summer.

However, despite Man United being a household name and one of the richest clubs on the planet, their recent struggles appear to have left Nunez with very little appetite to make the move to Old Trafford.
According to RMC Sport, the phenom has received an approach from the Red Devils and informed them that he is categorically not interested. Nunez will NOT move to Man United this summer.
Whether that’s because there’s another club in the race that he is more drawn to is unclear at this point in time, but what we know for sure is that United do not have the pull power in the market they once did…
