Darwin Nunez picked up an injury during Liverpool’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
The striker is yet another name to add to Liverpool’s injury list as Jurgen Klopp’s squad takes another hit.
It was announced earlier this week that Stevan Bajetic would be out for the rest of the season after picking up a thigh injury.

It has not yet been revealed how bad Nunez’s injury is but the Uruguay national team confirmed that he was not able to play in the upcoming international break.
“Darwin Núñez will not participate due to injury and instead, the interim technical director of the Uruguayan team, Marcelo Broli, called Jonathan Rodríguez,” an official statement confirmed.
“Uruguay will face the local team on March 24 at the National Stadium in Japan and four days later, on the 28th, they will play at the Seoul World Cup Stadium against South Korea.”
Darwin Nunez has withdrawn from international duty with Uruguay for the upcoming March international break.
