According to reports, Manchester City are preparing a huge offer for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.
City are hoping to outbid their Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United who are also interested in the 20-year-old.
According to the Daily Mirror, Pep Guardiola’s side are prepared to offer a whopping £100m for the striker despite the Norwegian being available for just £68m in June 2022 due to a clause in his contract.
The Premier League side also reported to be willing to offer the youngster a staggering £400,000-a-week should he decide to come to the Etihad.
Money aside, City have one other advantage over other suitors as Haaland’s father Alf Inge Haaland played for the club and Pep Guardiola wants the young Norwegian to follow in his fathers footsteps.
Haaland is seen to be the perfect replacement for club record scorer Sergio Aguero who is not only coming to the end of his contract but also suffering with repeated injuries.
