Limerick are set to take on Dublin this weekend at Croke Park on the Saturday and their footballers will be up the following day to play Wicklow in the Tailteann Cup.
Is this not a big ask for a Limerick supporter if you’re planning on supporting both teams?

Ridiculous to expect Limerick supporters to have to travel to Croke Park on back to back days this weekend. Should be an All Ireland quarter final double header at Nowlan Park or Thurles on Saturday.

Here are some of the comments online ..Â
Don’t think it’d be a major deal for them to go to Thurles if it was part of a double header. Tipp have won one championship game there in three years. Great venue. Would have made for a good festival of hurling on Saturday.
In fairness though, Dublin hurlers have had to travel for nearly every AI QF they’ve been in over the last 10 years. Galway won’t play in Thurles.
Anyway, a game under their belts in Croke Park this year will stand to the Limerick players. So wouldn’t be complaining on that front. I am sure the Limerick setup will welcome it.
It will be very beneficial to the players what about the fans
