Limerick are set to take on Kilkenny this weekend at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, it’s going to be a cracking game between last years All-Ireland finalists.

The midfielder William O’Donoghue has received a sanction for making contact with the head of Tipperary’s Alan Tynan prior to the throw-in of the counties’ Division 1 semi-final in TUS Gaelic Grounds last Saturday week.

That’s a big blow for Limerick, but it just shows you have to careful with your hurl and it’s a warning for players ahead of the Championship which is only weeks away now.
