The Mayo footballer and Westport man Lee Keegan won his first county medal this weekend, if ever there was a player deserving of it, it’s this man. Lee Keegan has played in some massive games for Mayo down through the years and it’s great to see him win a medal with his club Westport.
Galway manager Paraic Joyce was one of the men leading praise to the Mayo footballer as he secured that medal, you can see the Galway managers tweet below;
An outstanding player – one of the best to ever play the game. Fair play to him and Westport GAA

Hopefully the 33 year old stays on with Mayo for another season and who knows maybe Kevin McStay can finally be the man to lead Mayo to the holy grail and finally deliver the Sam Maguire to the western county.
