Khabib Nurmagomedov has cast doubt over him and Jake Paul ever fighting each other in the octagon.
Khabib is widely regarded as one of the finest MMA fighters of all-time. He retired at the very top of his game, which usually skews fan perception, in a positive way.
The MMA world was left in a state of shock after YouTuber Jake Paul, who is 5-0 in his boxing career, revealed his desire to fight Khabib in the UFC.
Paul himself would surely concede that he’d get destroyed in the octagon, but there’s probably no lengths he wouldn’t go do in order to secure a payday.
Unfortunately for him, it doesn’t look as though he’ll be getting one from Khabib, who had this to say when discussing the idea of fighting Paul in MMA.
“Come on, come on Jake Paul, I don’t think so. In MMA, a couple of minutes.”

“What do you think? He can fight with me. He’s a little bit too late. I watch a sparring or some video were he did MMA with someone, he has to learn a lot.”
“Boxing, he knows how to punch. His boxing game is not bad, but wrestling is completely different.”
“If he wants to fight in MMA, we can give him chance. We can sign him [to Eagle FC] and we can pay him. We’ll see.”
It’s probably for the best that Paul sides with Khabib, rather than fighting him. He could, potentially, pivot into MMA later in his career, but it’d be naive to think he could beat the best…
