The bank balance of Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has reportedly been leaked online… and it’s safe to say he’s doing well for himself.
De Bruyne is one of the highest-paid footballers in the Premier League. According to spotrac, the Belgium international rakes in £400k-a-week (before tax, of course).
It ought to be no surprise that the midfielder’s alleged bank balance has a whole load of zeros attached to it. Across the three accounts in the tweet, De Bruyne appears to have £12m at his fingertips…

It goes without saying that this ought to be taken with a pinch of salt. The photo is completely unconfirmed and has been doing the rounds on social media this afternoon.
We wouldn’t be surprised if De Bruyne’s actual balance was something near to the £12m figure, or even more, but we have to assume (unless told otherwise) that the photo is fake.
Besides, you’d think the player himself would begin asking questions if somebody had gained access to his bank account!
