Kevin de Bruyne will leave Manchester City at the end of the season.
The Belgium midfield maestro has only one more game left in a blue shirt before he waves goodbye to the club that made him the player he is today.
The 33-year-old received an emotional farewell on Tuesday night, and it brought manager Pep Guardiola to tears.
He will go down as a Manchester City legend, and an announcement was made that a statue will be built in his honour outside the stadium.
In his decade-long association with the club, he has won an incredible 16 winners’ medals during that period.
After the match, De Bruyne gave his team-mates a farewell party on Wednesday, and they went to a chic Manchester restaurant.
De Bruyne arrived in an oversized suit and his jaw-dropping wife, Michele Lacroix wore a figure-hugging black dress.
She shared her looks on social media with a black heart emoji.
Isbael Haugseng Johansen, Erling Haaland’s better half, commented – “Gorgeous”.
Raheem Sterling’s partner Paige Milian replied: “Gorgeous,” while John Stones’ WAG, Olivia Naylor, replied: “My gorgeous girl,” adding a red heart emoji.
De Bruyne has played 283 top-flight games for Manchester City and has provided 119 assists, second in the Premier League’s all-time list behind Ryan Giggs’ 162, and scored 72 goals.
He will play his final game for City this weekend away to Fulham.
