Harry Kane’s breakfast time conversation with manager Nuno sounds like bad news for Tottenham

A reported conversation which took place between Harry Kane and Nuno Espirito Santo suggests the pair’s relationship is currently frosty.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, with Kane continually reiterating his desire to win major silverware, the Spurs talisman was expected to push for a move away from the club.

While there hasn’t been anything concrete to suggest Kane is kicking up a fuss to force a transfer, it has been implied by his absence throughout pre-season and the season to date.

The Sun have now offered insight into a conversation that took place between Kane and manager Nuno over breakfast, and it doesn’t sound as though the pair are besties.

The report notes that there were no pleasantries exchanged at the end, with both men walking off in opposite directions, with one flying to Portugal and the other staying at home.

Harry Kane is being heavily linked with a move to Manchester City

Kane and Nuno do not appear to have bonded since the England skipper returned to the training ground, which is hardly ideal amid all the transfer speculation.

The fact that following this conversation the decision was made for Kane to remain in England and not travel with the team to Portugal is also telling.

We can only imagine what Kane said to Nuno in order for his manager to decide to leave him at home…
