Jamie Carragher has taken aim at former Real Madrid star and current Tottenham star Gareth Bale. The ex-Liverpool man has not been impressed with Gareth Bale since his return to London and return to the Premier League report WalesOnline.
Spurs began the season brilliantly and were tipped by many to win the League with this season being their best chance at a title. The reinforcement of the squad with the return of Gareth Bale just raised their chances with pundits saying Bale was a wasted talent by Zinedine Zidane in Real Madrid.
Since his return it hasn’t been amazing for the Welsh international with only 4 Premier League appearances and just 1 goal for the world renowned player.
Jamie Carragher said in his column in the Telegraph that
“I do not believe Spurs will win the title,”
“They need more from Gareth Bale to think beyond a top-four place. Bale has barely figured since his return and is injured again.
“After several years of complaints about unfair treatment from Real Madrid, we are yet to see the evidence that Zinedine Zidane was wrong.”
