Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has posted an update on his condition after suffering a worrying injury during last night’s Carabao Cup game against Liverpool.
Spurs sealed the advantage going into the second leg after Lucas Bergvall scored a late winner for the home side.
Just five minutes into the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final tie there were distressing scenes when Bentancur went for a header at the near post from a Tottenham corner but appeared to fall awkwardly and was then left stricken on the pitch.
Rodrigo Bentancur, no football fan want to see this. Wishing him a speedy recovery 🙏🏼

His team-mates frantically gestured for medical treatment before Bentancur was stretched off.
In what appears to be a positive update the Spurs star posted on Instagram a picture of himself alongside his partner Melany La Banca with the message: ‘All good, guys! Thank you for the messages!!! Congratulations for the victory boys!!!’
Tottenham are now just one game away from a Wembley showdown with the winners of Newcastle and Arsenal and are aiming to win their first trophy since the 2007/2008 season.
