YouTube boxer Jake Paul offered bare-knuckle fight by former UFC star

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has been called out by bare-knuckle fighter Hector Lombard via Instagram.

Paul, in the grand scheme of things, is still the new kid on the block in the fighting scene.

In three professional bouts to date, he’s beaten a YouTuber, a former NBA star and a retired UFC grappler.

He’s got three knockouts in three, but the standard of his opponents of course have to be questioned.

Paul, whose next fight will be against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, has now been offered a pivot into a different sport.

While Paul may well see Hector Lombard as a worthy opponent, it’s difficult to imagine him taking the plunge into bare-knuckle fighting.

The risks for Paul would outweigh the rewards, but the possibility of the two fighters meeting in a boxing ring can’t be ruled out.

Lombard mentions in the above Instagram post that he’d be open to the idea of fighting Paul in a boxing match.

With Lombard having finished his UFC career three years ago on the back of six consecutive losses, it’s exactly the kind of fight that Paul would pursue.
