🚨There was a serious incident in the Blackrock End in the Cork v Tipp game ..

Cork took on Tipperary on Sunday and it was a disappointing game in the end with the straight red card in the first minute of the game litterally killing it for Tipperary.

A few people were concerned with some of the antics that went on in the Blackrock Terrace though, have a look what one Cork supporters said online ..

As a Cork fan who was in the Blackrock terrace yesterday, I was more concerned about the missiles being fired randomly in that end, some flares etc. A young lad alongside us had his jersey burned. Not acceptable. There was a huge garda presence in the terrace, but it felt uneasy at times. Anyway, Up the Rebels, bring on Limerick 🇲🇨🇲🇨

  1. It was a disgrace the flares in the black rock end they was a crowd of youngsters throwing the flares down with kids down at the fence watching the match and one of them landed near them it was terrifying I felt stressed with how they were throwing them. The guards were standing around them trying to intervene and none of them where kicked out it was stressful the kids parents had to stand with them at the fence after that these sort of people shouldn’t be allowed into the match it makes a lot of people feel on edge. We were lucky nothing more serious happened. great game though up the rebels !!

    1. It was a complete shit show in the Blackrock End. Drunken fools with zero interest in the game. Booing Tipp when they came onto the field, sad. Girls sitting on the steps on their phones, why bother going. Saw one dope taken out by guard for throwing flare. Sad for kids to be watching that. Let the crowd have the banter and the crack, but grow up. Horrible ‘fans’ to have on our side.

  2. As a cork fan i am ashamed..I was in the city end and looking over seeing the flares been thrown down and seeing the panic in the fans where the flare had landed.
The Blackrock end is know for the fun and banter and chanting. The youth of today and not showing that. 1 person at the start of game was taken out for a flare and not 1 person afterwards.. why guards and security and not standing in between the crowd and not on the steps at side where they can’t see a thing…

  3. It is obvious that Cork GAA have accepted a “rent a mob” group to be their supporters and are allowing them to do what they like.
This was never the way of Cork GAA.
As a limerick supporter we have never been accustomed to this conduct from any other county.
I am sure that JBM , Pat Ryan and the many other great Cork Gaa people would prefer if these guys would stay away.
