England will have their talisman Harry Kane leading the line as Gareth Southgate names an unchanged side to face the USA.
It was a heart-in-mouth moment for England fans when it was revealed that their number nine would be having a scan on his foot. Losing your best player at the start of the World Cup could have been catastrophic but luckily it seems that the injury wasn’t too serious.
Gareth Southgate reassured fans yesterday that Kane would be fit to play but there was still a lingering concern around him. Harry Maguire who was also a worry after suffering from illness in the opening game, starts in defence.

England can secure qualification with a win tonight, giving them the luxury of being able to rest players in their final game. The USA impressed in their opening match against Wales and were unlucky to only come away with just a point.
After their triumphant 6-2 victory over a weaker calibre of opposition in Iran, this will be the real test for Southgate’s side.
