In his Friday press conference, the Chelsea manager revealed that he and his family have been receiving letters from fans threatening his life.
Graham Potter has been going through a horrid time at the London club since taking over from Thoams Tuchel last September. The former Brighton manager is currently on track to be the side’s worst-ever manager despite having huge investment behind him.
His arrival coincides with the recent takeover from Todd Boehly, a billionaire American owner who has already given over £600 million to incoming transfers.

It’s fair to say that fans are not happy but some supporters have stepped way over the line and have sickeningly sent his family death threats.
“As much as I’ve had the support I’ve had some not very nice emails that have come through that want me to die and want my kids to die, so obviously that’s not pleasant to receive.” he said.
“The challenge for me is, ‘OK, how do I conduct myself?’ That’s what I always turn around to. The higher you go, the more pressure you have on how you are as a person. I want to succeed here. There is this nonsense that I don’t care. Where does that come from? Where’s your evidence on that?”
