John Fury reveals Jake Paul’s team insisted on “bizarre” clauses in Tommy Fury fight contract

John Fury has confirmed that Jake Paul’s team have insisted on putting ‘bizarre’ clauses in the Tommy Fury fight contract.

We have recently had confirmation that Paul and Fury will be fighting on December 18th in Florida.

With any luck, Fury will be putting the rather annoying YouTuber to the sword and ending this circus.

It was a surprise to some that Paul accepted the bout with Fury, an exciting upcoming talent with a more extensive boxing background.

John Fury has now revealed though that it wasn’t without difficulty getting the contract signed, with Paul’s side having made life difficult.

Fury told BT Sport, “[Paul’s team] are being awkward. The contract has been bizarre. If I was going to go through what they’ve put in the contract, we’d be here all day.”

“I’ve said yes to everything; yes, yes, yes, yes, do what you’ve got to do because I know Jake Paul can’t beat Tommy no matter what he does.”

After Dillon Danis’ slanderous claims that Paul insisted on a no-knockout rule in the fight contract with Tyron Woodley, Fury’s comments are likely to get people asking questions.

That said, he’s almost certainly referring to the proposed name change, were Fury to be defeated by Paul next month.

Only a fool would believe that the Fury clan would agree to a no-knockout clause ahead of a fight.
