There has been speculation that Kell Brook could return to the ring to face Chris Eubank Jr.
Former welterweight champion Brook last fought in 2022 against long time rival Amir Khan scoring a KO victory in a clash that happened way too late in both fighters careers.

Johnny Nelson clearly isn’t a fan of a return to the ring for Brook and has voiced his concerns.
Speaking to Boxing King Media, he said:
“They’ve got to put out an unbelievable carrot there for Kell to sell his soul. And that’s what he’ll be doing. I said to him Kell, listen, you’ve got to do what’s best for you, but if you do it for the wrong reasons you’re going to have to live with the consequences. So if Kell decides he’s going to do it and give his heart and soul to do it then good on him.”
“Would I want to see him come back? No, I want him to be happy, and that is wealth.”
“He’s always good enough to fight anybody but time is not generous to anybody and no matter how good you are, time is always ‘like right, it’s payback now.”
