It all kicked off after the full-time whistle of Nottingham Forest vs Derby County, with the benches of both sides getting involved in the scuffle.
Forest dealt a blow to Derby’s faint survival hopes by defeating them 2-1 at the City Ground, despite the visitors threatening a late comeback with a goal in the 88th minute.
Wayne Rooney will also now be without Ravel Morrison for games to come, with the Manchester United academy product having been shown a straight red card in the seventh minute of injury time.
The Forest players were clearly unimpressed with the intent of Morrison’s challenge, with tensions boiling over quite drastically after the full-time whistle blew.
Near enough every player on the pitch was involved, with reinforcements coming off the bench to join the melee.
