Tuesday night was a night to forget for one poor Fantasy Premier League player after he registered a huge minus score following a horror show by Southampton’s Jan Bednarek.
Southampton were the victims of a 9-0 spanking at the hands of Manchester United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men matched the all time Premier League record for most goals scored in a single game.

Goals conceded – 9 (-4)
Own goals – 1 (-2)

Unfortunately for our Fantasy Premier League player, Bednarek was one of those goal scorers after he scored an O.G. and Manchester United’s third in the 34th minute of the hammering.
Things only got worse for the Southampton defender after he was harshly sent off in the 86th minute following a foul on United’s Anthony Martial.
Overall, Bednarek received a score of minus seven (-7) in the Fantasy Premier League ranking but unfortunately for one player they had ‘triple captained’ him resulting in a minus score of minus twenty-one (-21).
