Former England rugby captain Jamie George has been ruled out of England’s opening Six Nations match against Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday week.

Hooker George suffered a hamstring injury in Saracens’ Investec Champions Cup defeat by Saracens on Sunday and will miss the start of the tournament, the Rugby Football Union has confirmed.

This is a game that England will be seriously looking to target and get their campaign off to a good start, it’s been a while now since England last won the tournment. Can England go all the way this year?
