England have an 11.1% chance of winning Euro 2020, the third highest in the tournament, according to ‘The Analyst’s‘ prediction model.
Gareth Southgate’s men will be hosting Germany at Wembley tonight, with the prize on offer a quarter-final spot in the European Championships.
With France having been eliminated, the favourites are out, with England’s side of the draw hugely favourable. The route to the final is relatively clear.
Of course, England still need to overcome the enormous obstacle which is Germany, but if they were to successfully do so, they’d be in with a fighting chance.

England are favourites, too, or so is suggested by the numbers crunched by ‘The Analyst’s’ unique prediction model.
It tells us that England have a 65.3% chance of beating Germany and progressing in the tournament. The Three Lions also have an 11.1% chance of winning the whole thing, bettered only by Belgium (29.6%) and Spain (22.7%).
We couldn never claim to understand the algorthyms associated with calculating these kind of things, but you can’t argue with maths, right?
