The former Irish rugby coach Eddie O’Sullivan believes it’s only a matter of time till South Africa enter the Six Nations Championship. The South African super rugby club sides have entered the United Rugby Championship with the Scots, Welsh, Irish and Italian sides. The Youghal native believes this is the start of it and it’s much easier for the South Africans to play in Europe rather than the Rugby Championship.

Will the Springboks enter the tournament? If they do, surely they will also have to keep the Italians. By kicking them out, you kill the develop of the Italians.
