Fact of the matter is, all these empty stadiums were government funded. Croke Park empty all winter! We could have used that money on health/transport etc. The GAA, FAI, IRFU should be sharing stadiums like every country does! They are now a big problem, Thurles is gathering dust!

Self publicist.Building massive modern stadiums in each county is unsustainable+financial nonsense. GAA stadiums aren’t used by other sports and don’t fill them often enough to justify the cost.
