Devin Haney suffered defeat to Ryan Garcia at the weekend.
The long-time rivals met for the seventh time after they fought six times in the amateurs with the scores tied at three wins apiece.
An inspired Garcia put in a career best performance and dropped Haney three times en route to a majority decision victory.

On Friday Garcia weighed 143.2lbs, 3.2lbs above the division limit meaning the bout at the Barclays Center was not for Haney’s title.
So despite losing, Haney, retained his world super lightweight championship and was filmed celebrating still being the champion.

Fight fans slammed the American on social media.
One said: ‘Nah this is embarrassing.’
Another added: ‘Embarrassing.He didn’t learn anything. If I’m Garcia I move on to 147.’
A third commented:’I’m a Devin Haney supporter and this aint it, hope he takes time to fully recover physically and mentally, then gets back in the gym and bounce back from the loss.’
A fourth responded: ‘Can’t lie this is immensely shameless.’
