Declan Rice makes decision on his future after lucrative EIGHT-YEAR contract offer

Declan Rice has made a decision on his future after West Ham offered him a lucrative new eight-year contract, according to a report published by The Sun.

Although Rice leaving the London Stadium in search of Champions League football has seemed like a foregone conclusion for some time, that’s not to say that the Hammers have thrown in the towel in their efforts to keep him around.

News broke on Wednesday morning that the club had offered Rice the opportunity to earn £200k-a-week for EIGHT YEARS if he were to put pen to paper on a contract extension with the Europa League semi-finalists.

However, according to claims made by The Sun, Rice does not have any intention of shackling himself to his current employers and still has ambitions of moving on to one of the top clubs in the country.

While both Manchester clubs have been mooted as potential suitors, it’s hard to look past Chelsea, who are the club which holds Rice’s heart and houses his very best friend, Mason Mount.

Thomas Tuchel is an admirer of the England midfielder by his own admission. If he is given the necessary funds by Todd Boehly this summer, we could see this transfer materialising, and soon.
